Cubase - which plugin is causing the crash?

Just wondering as I have a set of projects created around the same time that keep crashing.

Is there a way to determine which plugin is the issue from the crashdumps? Is it only the Cubase support people that can do this?

Or is the only way to start removing plugins from the project and see when the crashes stop?

sometimes you can discover a name in it, but the crashdumps are very hard to read.

the best thing; removing plugins. or all the plugins you use; new project, add all the plugins that you use in that project.

also a project can corrupt, i had one, but loaded, didn't look right, but worked... could finish the project.

it can also be related to windows of course, other older projects load well?

but troubleshooting; is always; rule out.

removing plugins..

ok, thanks for that. It seemed to be just one batch of projects and I initially thought it was a particular plugin but since I've sold it and it's now actually been uninstalled it must be something else.

Also I noticed when I tried to use one of those projects and it caused a crash, Cubase then kept crashing on newer projects so I was reluctant to investigate further.
