Didn't see Acoustica. Much of its Acqua line is M1 silicon native. List is here: https://www.acustica-audio.com/pages/sp ... compatible (https://www.acustica-audio.com/pages/specials/acqua-plugins-silicon-compatible)- KVRian

"Compatible" usually means "it works with Rosetta" rather than silicon native.bovoxdave wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 1:32 pm Didn't see Acoustica. Much of its Acqua line is M1 silicon native. List is here: https://www.acustica-audio.com/pages/sp ... compatible
Some don't work with Rosetta of course, so it's not totally unreasonable to say something is compatible, but it's not quite the same.

My experience suggests you are 100 percent correct. At any rate, Amethyst4 caused my M1 to shut down consistently under silicon native. Creme2 worked. Was going to most a correction. Thanks

Overloud TH-U has been Apple Silicon native for a while now. https://www.overloud.com/news/th-u-now- ... ee-upgrade

I just got contacted from Steinberg regarding WaveLab Cast, stating it's only compatible Apple Silicon-based Macs with Rosetta 2. The native support will be available at some point later this year.
Yet they list it at KVR database as Universal 2 Binary

Yeah, I checked on this one a few months ago and found the same thing. Pretty sure that Steinberg will not start releasing AS native builds until they have their new licensing system up and running. They have notified other eLicenser developers that it is going away, which is why VSL is moving to iLok.
I think part of the problem with the false UB2 entries is that the KVR database does not have a way to mark an entry as Rosetta2 compatible.

The fine folks at Fabfilter just released Timeless 3, their tape delay plugin.

And once again, Richard continues to bullheadedly refuse to release UB2s.

So irritating. I will be buying the 16" Pro laptop as soon as it goes AS-native, at which point I will no longer be able to use Hosting AU with anything from Synapse. It's literally just a checkbox in XCode to build a UB2. Richard's response to this was not that it was hard, or a problem to maintain, but "Why would you want to do that?" Then he dug in his heels when we gave him good reasons. I just don't get some people.

Just got confirmation from Moog that their Model 15 app, which they brought to MacOS from iOS, was designed and tested specifically with the M1 dev kits.
Trying it out now in native mode without Rosetta, seems to work just fine. You can even expand the window to view more of the interface, which along with the built in zoom helps you see more.
Also, just like on iOS it can be used as an effect.

You would know better than I would. I imagine you would have issues with code signing, etc.
