I remeber plugin that does some distance sim few days ago here. It has air temperature option.
Anyone remember? Can't find it here.
And any alternatives to distance sim plug-ins like Wavearts Panorama and SpinAudio 3d panner.

Ultrafunk Surround also comes to my mind here. Apart from that you'd have to DIY
aka rktic. demoscener (Farbrausch, Holon, MFX, Still), sound designer, ux-dude, sth @AudioRealism, human synthesizer—not necessarily in that order.

The one from the other day with air temperature was Rough Surface Exact Delay:

For distance and elevation simulation, but no temperature, you might want to check out Gerzonic's ambisonic plugins:

I think the Gerzonic plugins have most bases covered for ambisonics, but you might be interested in the original ambisonics page at the the University of York. Has a lot of the original research material posted, including some other VST plugins and some source code.

I noticed it was 2005, yeah - I think that's cool. The topic is still relevant and a lot's happened since 2005. I enjoy a worthy thread dig.
