I remeber plugin that does some distance sim few days ago here. It has air temperature option.
Anyone remember? Can't find it here.

And any alternatives to distance sim plug-ins like Wavearts Panorama and SpinAudio 3d panner.

Ultrafunk Surround also comes to my mind here. Apart from that you'd have to DIY :)
aka rktic. demoscener (Farbrausch, Holon, MFX, Still), sound designer, ux-dude, sth @AudioRealism, human synthesizer—not necessarily in that order.

no no its simulates doppler but not distance/air absorbtion model.
And distances i talking about is like 500 meters or more

I think the Gerzonic plugins have most bases covered for ambisonics, but you might be interested in the original ambisonics page at the the University of York. Has a lot of the original research material posted, including some other VST plugins and some source code.
