Just stumbled on these. I really like what I've heard so far (Wings of time & Red leaves). I also get the sense of someone very comfortable with the piano. My own piano-foo was never particularly good, but these days seems to have deserted me completely :(

Oh, and I like the vid. with Air dance :)
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

Rain walz:
Pleasant melody lines… happy and joyful ambianse.
Great instrumental music.

Red Leaves. I enjoyed it. It had some great dynamics and the melody was very pleasant. I thought it sounded like main title music for a TV period drama (although at 5 minutes, it would probably be too long for that application).

Good work :)

Really nice! A lot of great drama and story telling here. Really nice ideas starting at 1:09 and 3:45.
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com

I listened to "Red Leaves" which has some beautiful, delicate moments. Composing for solo piano is quite a challenge with no exciting synth sounds to maintain interest. You pulled it off, well done. :tu:

Rain Waltz is a very satisfying evening listen. I like the way the intro takes a little time to settle into the obvious Waltz tempo, and the melody is very pleasant. Watch out, Johann.

Good work :)

Thanks folderol!
It's not me on the piano, it's my pianist. But I did compose it :D

Thank you for the review! Now listening to "The Wings of Time": very nice piano tone, beautiful piano playing and melodies! Actually gave me goosebumps. Excellent job! :). Sounds very professional.

that's funny because the bass line was inspired by tv drama thing series, maybe you can guess :)

you've done great work writing for piano, the thoughts and playing are very expressive. use to have an old heintzman piano that I had moved to my basement studio, was a major job moving it downstairs, when I sold the house it was never coming out. always wanted to play things like this but never got back to it. I enjoyed all of them

I don't think I'll be able to do that. Since the outbreak of CoVID, I've barely watched any TV at all, although I saw Fawlty Towers tonight, Eurovision song contest on Saturday (I wish I hadn't), a Frank Zappa documentary a couple of weeks ago, and a few football matches.
