Filterbank3 alternative (Filter+LFO+ExtremeDistortion in 1 plugin)?

Since long time I am searching for a single-plugin substitution for the Tone2 Filterbank3 which is only 32bit and adds annoying noise when driven hard.
What I need are following features:
- Lowpass-filter with cutoff and resonance control (preferably 30dB but I think 24dB works too)
- BPM-synced LFO with all the typical shapes (sine, ramp up/down, square, triangle, noise etc..)
- Heavy distortion module after the filter with at least 50dB of drive (Tube would be great but for my use simple hard clipping works as well).
Does anything like that exist for Mac 64bit?

ShaperBox from Cableguys looks to check all your boxes. There is the new distortion module.

Great suggestion! Does indeed check all my boxes. I struggle to get it to sound the way I am used to with filterbank, probably because it doesn't have the characteristic 30dB Filter.. I guess it will be hard to find such a filter slope in another plugin.
Anyway Shaperbox is way more flexible when designing LFO shapes over time. While it doesn't entirely replace Filterbank it opens some different possibilities and is definitely a great tool to have in my arsenal.
I only wish they had an option to display different modules on one page (like a rack for example) and to hide some controls that are not used. But I am surely going to dig deeper into it, thanks for the advice.
Btw if someone else has plugins to recommend of the type I am looking for let me know. I am still open for suggestions.

It doesn't have a 30db filter, but it has quite a few varieties of the 6, 12, and 24db filters. Yes, you can only view one module at a time.Phazma wrote: Mon Feb 22, 2021 11:28 am Great suggestion! Waldorf D-Pole is quite old but it fits the bill, and they are usually giving it away free with the Waldorf Edition pack from time to time. It's pretty aggressive sounding especially with the overdrive so it might work out for you.

I'm guessing the OP is running MacOS, since he, or she, is specifically asking for something similar for Mac. FilterBank is not available as 64-bit for Mac.robindrieghe wrote: Sat May 15, 2021 10:55 pm Tone2 releases Filterbank 3.3 (incl. Win 64-bit)

Discontinued can also mean it's not developed anymore, which is isn't.

Also agreeing with HcDoom regarding the hope for a new version, would be lovely to see. I actually uninstalled v3 yesterday because I have a little hard to use the current small and outdated interface.

Many have asked over the years. But no luck.HcDoom wrote: Sun May 16, 2021 8:50 am Its a discontinued product. Hopefully, we will see FilterBank 4 soon, they have the technology and the means to do it.
Fun fact : Some big names continued using Filterbank2 for a long time, as they thought it sounded better (the distortion part was the kick distortion for many years).
But yeah, an update would be welcome. Include the FB2 and FB1 distortions, modernize the gui a little bit, and we'll be happy.
