Hi,

I am using windows 10 and my NI's U12 etc libraries are in :

D:\sounds\native instruments\xxx
D:\sounds\Spectronic\Omni\<Bunch of folders with its samples etc>
where drive D is a 3T HDD

Now I have a M.2 PCIe SSD (Drive F:) brand new. And I have already copied all the lib to F:\sounds\native instruments\xxx. I tried to renamed D:\sounds to D:\sounds.org and made a short cut D:\sounds -> F:\sounds. It didn't work! How can I tell kontakt 6 to read the new libraries in Drive F as if it were reading drive D?

Thanks!
Cowby

Is there a reason you didn't just tell Kontakt where you moved the library?

Here's some of my stuff: https://soundcloud.com/shadowsoflife. If you hear something you like, I'm looking for collaborators.

My bad, the d:\sounds folder not only contains Kontakt lib (I know I can manually adjust the folder in Kontakt). But I have other software like Omnispere 2 stem folder etc ...

anyways, thanks for your link.

I tried below seems worked but I will test a bit longer

1) rename d:\sounds D:\sounds.org
2) mklink /d d:\sounds F:\sounds
done
