And very smart... It seems obvious now, but it didn't click when reading YT comments.

Someone was asking how to make it playback the whole loop after setting splices, which you can't do without removing the markers. The solution was to just duplicate and remove from one, which seemed like a waste. It didn't occur to me until seeing your breakbeat reel that you can just double the loop and leave that as a single splice.

It'll work by itself as much as it can work with Pod #1 and the make-noise desktop bits, plus XOH allows for A/B of stereo inputs.

The only problem is that it looks like Pamela is hard to come by.

I'm hopeful Data Bender gets here this week... and I may have found a XOH new, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
WooHoo! Really coming together nicely. 8)

gave in and ordered a Morphagene.
my euro setup kinda looks like this and kinda doesn’t.

Sorry, your response actually sent me down a path of heavy doses of Maths videos that got me piecing together 6U of 104hp.

I didn't purchase the Dynamix yet (and I hope it stays in stock) because *if* I got Maths I could still side-chain minus the lowpass gate, plus I like the option of using it as a mixer too. Side-chaining with the lowpass gate (on Dynamix) is definitely a major plus though.

The Dynamics on 0-Coast has been interesting to get used to, but it's definitely musical.

I'm hoping to figure it out soon because I'd like to avoid buying/selling too much, but I'm leaning towards the idea of Function with lag as it will definitely still be useful even if I end up with Maths at a later point.

The nice thing is that helped me decide that I'd like to start off with Pamela and decide later on Functions vs Maths for either Pod 3, or a full-on 6U vs 7U of 104hp rack.

 Nice rack!

There is a relatively simple but super useful modulation source that I like a lot, it’s the WMD/SSF ModBox. 2 LFOs, a noise source and S&H in 6HP. I have two of them. The LFOs can be synced to a clock or not. Voltage control of rate and shape of the second LFOs.
Something like PNW offers more stuff but it’s nice to have some modulators with more hands-on control.

Definitely! Lack of immediate hands-on control was my biggest hesitation since it's one-button navigation, but the options in this size were hard to match.

I'm going to plug these into the 6U mockup. It's been the wide-open seas for browsing dedicated LFO modules so far.

Thanks! here’s the last photo of the real deal. The nerdseq has since departed, My brain really couldn’t cope with that tracker business:

Picked up an Antimatter Brain Seed. People keep saying they're hard to find because they were discontinued, but there were three used ones on Reverb for decent prices.

Yeah, I could never do the tracker stuff. There's a gorgeous (IMO) desktop Polyend Tracker that makes me wish I had the patience for it, but I know I never will.

Do you use the rack like that, or does it prop up? Sorry, it's the distant sports injuries that make my back hurt seeing it lay flat.

i have several basic doepfer, including some with cv control.
alongside other modulation like plaits and marbles and maths, using either boring doepfer mixer or exciting cvlization or maths to combine and mess up signals :band:

oh and the komas have bits too.

i do ocassionally think about more complex shape lfos and oscillators, but i think im more old school when it comes to "analogue synthesis" enjoying the challenge of making the complexity from basics.

Have you guys bought from Elevator Sound before? It's the only place I could find Pamela and it still has a decent price even with the exchange rate and shipping overseas.
