Looking for a vst similar to son of a pitch, basically something where I can use interesting lfo signals to automate pitch, but I'm also wondering about advanced options going further with this? something where I can draw the pitch modulation? Like a section where I can use nodes to input where the pitch is, similar to lfo tool that allows you to shape sound, or driveshaper that allows you to shape distortion? If you know what I mean?

I suspect there is probably a few options for synth plugins with additional controls to send lfo's to pitch to affect the pitch? but I'm looking for something that can work with a sample or an input source.
Bonus points if it can do interesting vocal bending processing and manipulation, that's something I'd like to try one day as well.
If there are free options out there that would be welcomed but willing to know what (if anything) exists in the paid vst options?

If you're in Ableton I'd suggest checking out max for live devices, there are a few devices on pitchshifting and modulation. Bunch of those for free (-:

Never question the desires of a sound designer.

unfiltered audio BYOME/TRIAD comes to mind

has a pitch module, sequenzer/lfo/adsr for modulation...

or eventide's h910, which has a keyboard that lets you play the pitch-shifting...

In Reaper, Reapitch works great! Then you can use the normal automation methods. Draw an automation envelope or use an LFO or whatever. You can have as much control as you want! If you aren't using Reaper, I'm not sure. I suppose you could pay for something like Little Alter Boy. I've never used it. And then of course you can use automation envelopes with it. Any DAW worth it's salt should allow you to do this.

yea! that's pretty much the interface style I was thinking!

also on glitchmachines, i've had those on my list of vst's to check out for a while since they are often going cheap, I didn't realise those plugins were capable of that.

as for the purpose, mostly manipulating basslines in the sub range to create movement. a static bassline can get pretty boring. vocal tools are fun too!

Great plugins, might be a bit overkill for this but it should be able to get the job done.

Adversely you could always try rigging two Vocal Benders in Studio Rack and then set up the Macros to control the settings simultaneously. I'm pretty sure you can set up "inverse" relationships there too. Maybe.

If you are looking to create movement in your basslines, I think Infiltrator is excellent!! Very capable and VERY fun!! :tu:
