I don't use Reaper, so I was thinking GSnap. Of course I can tune within the synth, but it's rather finicky. I was mostly trying to save myself some time and trouble. But if it's a no, I'll do it the hard way.

What's the thinking behind not allowing it? It seems a little arbitrary, unless there's something I'm missing.
Edit:
Thinking about it, it seems like any other effect that should be fine if it's not abused but used in a subtle way. On the other hand, I guess I can see how most of the time there wouldn't be a need or reason to use it. (Unless you're trying something weird, like me.) So it's simpler just to say no.
