This I agree with! But with a 600+ team they can afford to have a proper marketing & film crew (that was actually their recent job post on LinkedIn).

You cant trust LinkedIn, I have half a dozen employees still they they work for my company that left years ago!

Google/Owl etc all show around 350 which seems about right.

Why after 5 version has Presonus not updated their browser? Still can't tag our own content or manage it in a good way yet, Bitwig offered this in their 2nd version. Cmon Presonus!

Is moving from Studio One Artist to Pro worth it? Almost €300 seems like a steep price to pay.

For me the number one thing it needs is better MIDI FX handling and better MIDI routing.

It is worrying that presonus never officially aknowledged the jiiter issue and fix in 5.2

You can do it both ways, assuming I understand your question. You just need to hold a modifier (I think Alt on Windows) while dragging for the FX to be inserted as an Event FX.

Although, most DAWs don't I believe?

You can do it in Bitwig, Logic and I'm sure in Reaper too, but I doubt about others. You can't in Cubase, Live and Reason (that one doesn't accept MIDI VSTs at all).

Live makes it easier than the other DAWs that don't have a dedicated system for it. They handle it in the mixer and it's a fairly straight shot, routing-wise. Also they have such a large library of built-in and Max4Live MIDI effects that one could argue it doesn't really matter as much.

Studio One has (on paper) a similar system for it to Live but I'm not sure they gave it much usability testing. It's per-instrument, can only be accessed from the plugin GUI, has a fiddly dropdown checkbox system (somebody at Presonus loves those, they're all over the program lol), and it doesn't work with all routing.
