The Nektar LX88+ arrived today and I’m pretty happy with it for a two hundred quid 88 key controller. The keyboard action’s pretty playable, semi-weighted so an all rounder. My PC was having a fit today, the latest Win10 updates have done fun stuff like kill my KVM switch’s functionality and lose all MIDI inputs, so I didn’t dare go beyond using the generic MIDI device stuff, but all the faders and knobs MIDI learned fine.

a reasonably thin, so it's not too heavy, wall hanging, can come in handy![]()

Though for patch cables I just have a Pomona hanger wire-tied to the front of a storage shelf which has a bunch of random junk on it. It's not pretty, but the cables are tidy.

And what is that thing that looks like a cross between a CPAP machine and a device made for astronauts to pee in space?

I can see there being a market for Rack Cosies provided they’re not inflammable

It's an aimable desk fan, a Yuento Elefan.
And thanks for calling attention to it because that made me realize I needed to clean the filters. (Not that too many astronauts have been peeing in it, it's just dust

Sigh, I caved on a Feedback Modules Mix BX which I had resisted initially, my hesitation cost me about
$25... lesson learned. Honestly, I want to start considering my rig complete soon-ish as it's getting too
large. I'm not doing super well at that I guess

That’s a gorgeous mixer. Everything I’ve seen looks unnecessarily cramped and they all cost much more!pekbro wrote: Tue May 25, 2021 11:36 pm Sigh, I caved on a Feedback Modules Mix BX which I had resisted initially, my hesitation cost me about

It's cool, also moderately large by eurorack standards. Something that is going to preventelxsound wrote: Wed May 26, 2021 12:17 am

it's in an 84HP rack to give an idea of the size. (little gear porn there 4 ya

Yeah, it didn't take long to sell all 30 pre-sales. At any rate, they will be available later on,
for only about 20 euros more than what I paid. Still a pretty nice price. There might be another
version as well based on the TB303 distortion sound apparently.

That one is good too, they both are designed to impart some coloring, and the quite handily, the color is different for each.vurt wrote: Wed May 26, 2021 11:24 am worth keeping an eye out for a s find batch although i liked that other mixer you got too.
I believe I read that a new batch of the Cosmix should be available soon btw.
