Maybe it's better to ask Pete on Gearslutz (ehm... Gearspace :hihi: ). He works at Microsoft in the audio department and usually knows the answer, e.g. in this thread is a good place to ask this:

I'd just finished backing up all my files before doing a complete Windows reinstall when I found this page...

and the first thing it suggested - using an admin command prompt to add the network and local services into the administrators group resolved some permissions issue and fixed my audio interface issue.
I still have an issue with USB MIDI and USB Audio from my drum machine, but can live with that for now until I find a proper fix as I have one working MIDI input recognised on the Arturia interface and I can use that to connect a keyboard.
