Get it! Great tools. Secret weapon tools. :). No real crossover between riffer and chord jam. With a great stretch you may be able to arrive at something chord jam like using all 4 ‘tabs/sequencers’ of riffer. Quite different workflows/results.

Riffer is closer to maybe Reasons quad note generator or maybe a ‘lighter’ version of Kirnu Cream?

Hmm, Now motivated to get the Bundle but will wait till the Balck Friday sale in the hope of a lower price.
Heck I can wait six months.
But then I may get Chordjam now and then wait for a Riffer sale.

When does the Chordjam sale end?

Far be it from me to kick the handle off your GAS valve, but.... I agree with Anthony/@dopet that it is a good deal. Audio modern has shown ongoing support for their stuff, releasing free feature updates. Playbeat had MIDI output added, and Riffer is now on Version 3. I don't know how long the intro lasts, however :)
Too many DAWs and plug-ins

Take a look at this video:

It uses all three to create a track.

Did the deed! :)
Thanks for the prodding. :tu:

Got the ChordJam.
Will get Riffer on the next big sale.
PlayBeat perhaps may get in the future.

Thanks to all for the suggestions.

Congrats. :)

Just watched the Scaler 2.4 update video from PB. I am impressed with the constant improvements and updates to this plugin. They stay in their lane without much scope creep yet still add much value with improvements that seem to be user driven. Kudos to them and I wish more developers would take note. Regardless of what you think about the plugin I think they are serving their customer base well.

One more thing... I also think their in-house videos are well done. Even though the presenter is a little monotone it kinda works because it puts the focus on the plugin. As it should. Very informative videos without an overage of hype. I like it. Just sayin...

I agree, but I’m an old git so maybe strange because I don't prefer videos with presenters bouncing around telling me how fresh and fire it all is. I like the grumpy low key Aussie’s approach.
One thing that amused me is he was showing off the one key chord progressions and saying they were great to solo over, but then his solos were just arpeggiated chords so… mixed messages? :D

New thing coming apparently next week from FeelYourSound, HouseEngine:

Glad it's been announced to the public. You can drag drop chord progressions from Scaler 2 and reMidi 2 directly into it. Nice feature.

Yep, I am going to release it next week :). HouseEngine will contain over 300 generator recipes / presets. The influences reach from classics like Frankie Knuckles, Larry Heard, and Stardust to the modern sounds of top labels like Defected, Toolroom, or Spinnin' Deep.
I developed the plug-in for House productions, but I already saw people using it for other genres ;).

You can sign up for the newsletter here:

I will send a mail when HouseEngine is available (and there will be introductory discounts as well^^).

Excellent news from one of my favorite developers. With the amazing precedent of ChordPotion and SunDog (A LOT of fun and productivity with those incredible tools) HouseEngine is sure to be a great addition to the Haunke/FeelYourSound productive family members.

My personal house trends about fusion Jazz + Latin + Ethno + Ethno + Electronic + etc (and some "bass skills" :)  with HouseEngine are eager to get started. All the success!

Just got an email from Polyverse and they've updated Gatekeeper; as well as the boring inevitable Mac updates they've added a long desired thing - it can now send MIDI CC output from the plugin allowing it to use the looped patterns to define expression against whatever parameters you want to automate in your DAW etc.
