What I find attractive about Softube ToneLux Tilt (which I may end up buying one day) is that, apart from the tilt mode, it also has smile/frown mode.

Why do you feel you need one at all? I can't see the point of them.

Toneboosters eq4 is an excellent eq with tilt as one of its many filter types.

sTiltV2 is updated to V2.1. The update adds zero delay tilt filter. Just grab it from TBProAudio.deMogwaiBoy wrote: Sun May 30, 2021 10:40 am This is free (note: linear phase):

I've used Goodhertz Tiltshift for years, but after trying sTilt just now i find it significantly better sounding to my ears (only comparing for 20 minutes however). I'm surprised by that.
Edit: TBProAudio: Why is it called "spectral tilt"? And can you explain the benefits and disadvantages of the three different modes and the quality settings? The manual was a bit sparse.

Thank you! Didn't realize I need a tilt EQ before this thread.
Picked sTilt, nice freebie that does the job.

LP: linear phase tilt filter, quality impacts the length of the FFT, longer FFT gives better resolution in the lows, but carries plugin delaycantaloupe wrote: Sun Jun 06, 2021 8:43 am I've used Goodhertz Tiltshift for years, but after trying sTilt just now i find it significantly better sounding to my ears (only comparing for 20 minutes however). NP: similar to LP but with natural phase, less pre-ringing than LP filter
ZD: zero delay filter, small deviations to LP (aka ideal) tilt, IIR phase, no plugin delay!
I hope this helps

sTilt is completely transparent and has no shelf filters? (Tonelux it's not, which can be good or bad)
