When it happens we will be already in the era of plugin emulations of 'retro' 2010's plugins emulations, so maybe it would be better to start writing MX emulation just right now?
Massive X 1.6.1 update (September 2025)!

So no new updates to MX until it's rewritten for M1 I suppose?

"Rewritten" is a rather heavy term, and is not the case here (implies doing it from scratch, which is not necessary).

To be fair to NI MX is the only NI product I own that doesn’t work with my Mac Mini M1 Silicon in Rosetta 2 mode.
It did however take me almost two weeks to migrate, check, update and troubleshoot everything.
What was a huge lifesaver for the AU synths that didn’t work was Sound Gurus ‘Unify’.
If you have the time and constitution I can recommend upgrading as the Mac Mini is super fast and super quiet.

I'm ignoring the argument/disagreement.
A bit off-topic: What did you buy with your £22 voucher? I bought Mechanix for Massive X.

The voucher code isn't working for me, says it's invalid for my choice. I thought I might also grab Mechanix (for £3) in advance of my potentially buying MX during the next 50% off sale.Spring Goose wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 10:19 am I'm ignoring the argument/disagreement.

It was same for me. I emailed them then they replied 3 days with a unique voucher which worked.PieBerger wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 10:41 amThe voucher code isn't working for me, says it's invalid for my choice. Any chance you can PM the email address you used? I can't find one on their site, only an FAQ, a chatbot (that wasn't very helpful, naturally) and a live chat option which isn't available today because it's a public holiday. Cheers!Spring Goose wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 10:45 amIt was same for me. Just run through the support dialog, and you should have the option to send an email at the end, if you happen to have a different issue than the "standard" ones which are stated there.

I assumed an email address would follow, but couldn't see one, so I went through the help wizard again and this is all I get:chk071 wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 10:54 am Just run through the support dialog, and you should have the option to send an email at the end, if you happen to have a different issue than the "standard" ones which are stated there.
Sure, you can chat with us about your specific question before buying anything from us.
Please note our chat business hours below - you'll be finding the chat option on any product page in the lower right corner, where you can submit your request directly to an agent.
You can also find it in the Account and Order Help category from where you have started this wizard.
There's a box out with a link to the live chat, but it's not available today.

I submitted a ticket, but it was tricky to find the option to do so.PieBerger wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 10:50 amAny chance you can PM the email address you used? They said they do reply to this:
support@nativeinstruments.zendesk.com
I'd mention that you couldn't find the option to submit a ticket.

Looks like they recently changed their voucher terms:PieBerger wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 10:50 amAny chance you can PM the email address you used? I am sure they did this like a couple of days ago, because many (including me) grabbed the new Massive X Expansions (on the day they were released last week) for $4 each with e-voucher iZotopeNI2021.The voucher is valid for Native Instrument’s products at a price point of $49 and above. The voucher is valid for all Native Instruments software products in the NI Online Shop, excluding hardware, updates, upgrades, crossgrades, educational versions, and products already on special offer. The e-voucher is personalized and only for use by the appointed addressee/user. It is not transferable and may not be resold. If not redeemed, the voucher expires on 30 June, 2021. If the total amount of the voucher is not redeemed, the holder is not entitled to payment of the remaining balance. Only one voucher can be used per product purchase. The voucher can only be redeemed at the NI Online Shop. The e-voucher may not be redeemed for cash.
The e-voucher was working on the 3 for 2 bundle promotion too, making it $33 for 3 packs. But the individual deal was best where you could have all 3 packs for $12 total with separate orders.
Now, the e-voucher is not working on anything less than $49 apart from usual crossgrades/upgrades/etc. where they have never worked.

Thanks, I've emailed them asking for a new code!Spring Goose wrote: Mon May 31, 2021 11:02 am I submitted a ticket, but it was tricky to find the option to do so.

I couldn't see this on the site when I clicked through the various FAQ-style links, so I decided to play ignorant (to what I've seen here) and ask them to honour the terms from the original promotional e-mail and see if they'll play ball.
Thanks for your help everyone
