Toned Max v3.0.8 - Major Crashes in Ableton Live Standard 11.0.2 - macOS Mojave 10.14.6

I recently downloaded the new Toned Max v3.0.8 update.

Lots of instability in all versions (AU, VST2 & VST3)

Ableton Live Standard 11.0.2
macOS Mojave 10.14.6

*Crashing when changing presets in AU - hanging crash

*Crashing when selecting IN and OUT buttons for the FFT analyzer in VST2 & VST3 - instant crash

*Crashing when selecting parameter tabs (Analog/EQ/Stereo) in VST2 & VST3 - instant crash.

It looks like it could be an amazing plugin with a great workflow but unfortunately, it's completely unstable in its current form.

Demoing it against Tonebooster's Equalizer v4 and I prefer Toned Max with its Linear Phase options, but I'm leaning towards TB for its stability unless these issues are being resolved? Anyword on a more recent update? I'd love for this plugin to be part of my workflow.

I have been testing and I can't reproduce the issues yet. I am on Live 10 and Catalina. I will have to do some more testing to figure out if this is a Mojave issue or Live 11.

Do you know if the same issues happen with the latest version of LVC-Meter?

I just did a quick test for you and LVC-Meter 1.0.11 seems to be running smoothly in all plugin versions, on my system.

I also tested Toned Max v3.0.8 running in Blue Cat Audio's Patchwork plugin host inside Live 11 (VST3 version, with VST3 Toned Max) and it seems to be much more stable. I've only had one crash pressing the "IN" button for the FFT analyzer, but I can't reproduce it often.

The Toned Max AU in Logic 10.5.1 seems flawless.

With further testing in Patchwork running as a VST3 in Live 11... The Toned Max 3.0.8 VST2 seems much more stable than the VST3 version.

As above, LVC-Meter seems to be working fine with both VST2 & VST3 formats in Live 11...

I've had a response from Blue Cat Audio regarding another issue with one of their VST3s. Apparently, Live 11 has a known issue with the VST3 format randomly crashing upon load, in general. They are hopefully working on a fix. Some of the problems with your Toned Max VST3 stability may be on Ableton's side of the equation.

"Unfortunately" this bug doesn't crossover to the VST2 format, any updates?

I am working on testing with Live 11 and Steinberg apps (Wavelab). These DAWs appear to have the most issues, specific to VST3. I hope to have new builds uploaded within a week.

I've been using the VST2 version and the only thing crashing now is paging between Analog/EQ/Stereo in the parameter window, most of the time on first loading the plugin or the session.

I have crash reports, are they worth emailing to you?

I'm trying to stick with VST2 plugins at the moment as Live 11 is having a lot of issues with the VST3 format in general apparently, or at least it seems to be in my case.

I'm really loving this plugin! I can't see myself going back to anything else once these bugs are ironed out!

There is a new build of Toned-MAX on the website. It is the same version (3.0., but it is new.

I have been testing VST3 in Wavelab and Live. Both are working for me on Windows and Mac. Please let me know if you are having issues.

Hi thanks for the update, but my issues and the crash reports I sent you were when using the VST2 version of Toned Max. Does this latest update deal with the VST2 version?

Unfortunately, the update hasn't fixed my issues. The VST3 is still "hanging"/not responding Live 11, and the VST2 is crashing: when switching Analog/EQ/Stereo tabs.

I'm still having crashing issues when switching tabs in the latest 3.0.10 update. I'm not even using the "analog" or "stereo" features of the plugin atm, which is unfortunate. It was a big part of my decision when purchasing TonedMAX, choosing it over the competition. I was considering buying your PreAMPed plugin as well because of the integration with TonedMAX's analog section. I can't see this happening if I'm constantly crashing when switching between tabs! Any updates on if this issue is still being worked on? I can send more crash reports if needed? Thanks.
