Ok, a tease, I think it's probably sound blaster related but can anyone confirm?

And is it of use to anyone? Found it in a box in the shed, forgotten for decades...

looks like what I had to do to get MIDI out of a first-generation MacIntosh in 1986, a serial port to MIDI adapter.

Yes, this is indeed the midi in/out cable with joystick thru as it came with SoundBlaster cards.

Not likely. You need such a crap card to begin with, they were from the PCI era. Modern mobos don't facilitate such slots anymore.

Thanks all.

Memory's failing me, I had an Awe32 back in the mid 90s and sold that one with I'm sure all the cables so was puzzled what this could be. I later had an EMU card (not the full APS drive bay thing) so wondered if it was from that at first. I guess the same cable.
