Yes, Attila, and possibly when dragging the midi of the file directly to the master track, the scale should also be adjusted according to the new chords master track. The absence of this for me is still a problem))I added "Change Chords According To New Scale" option to several places where you can change the scale.

Perhaps the correct option would be the choice: or the scale to adjust under chords master track or chords master track to change automatically under the scale. It can be a global option.

And yes, I understand that under each chord, the master track can be a large number of scales ...
Perhaps here can be the choice of the most suitable scales to chord the master track indicating the remoteness from exactly the corresponding chord ? Well, something like this))

Hi Attila,
it would be nice if we could select multiple track/phrases (from different track),
and add multiple tracks (group) or folder of tracks in to tracks template.
For Idea Tool -
I am not sure if there is already a way around this, but I would like to re-generate just the rhythm alone/variation, just like the motif editor for some phrases.
Best,
HPN

Hi HPN,
interesting idea.
Re-generating the rhythm only is not possible in the Idea Tool. Would it be useful to have a keyboard shortcut for rhythm regeneration? Then you could select all phrases in a track, and press a key.
Thanks,
Attila

Attila, I would like to know if the work is planned to embed separate windows into the sidebar? In particular, it seems to me that when working with the master, the track would be very convenient to see the chord selector in the sidebar.

HI lulukom,
this is not planned at the moment. The chord selector became a separate window so that you can leave it open while working on the composition.
Thanks,
Attila

Plug-ins] RC VST3 plug-in offers 128 output channels
Does this mean it will work in the way it originally did where you can have more than one instance of RC running in daw.
if so has anybody tried this in Ableton ?

I would also like to suggest such a thing ..
When I record one phrase after another in loop mode, it was very good to do the erasure of the previous recording + automatic saving of the phrase already recorded ,but erased during the recording process in a pre-selected folder. This will allow you to play many takes in a loop and save them for later selection. Thank you.

Kind of like "lanes" in Reaper?lulukom wrote: Fri Jun 04, 2021 1:53 pm I would also like to suggest such a thing ..

I'm not familiar with Reaper, but my Digital Performer makes new takes and thereby allows you to store many variants of phrases directly on the track (in our case, on the phrase), and any of them can always be selected and compared with others .

With Reaper, you can record multiple lanes on a track. You could then slice or cut those and choose a "take" based on that, creating a new phrase from the takes and lanes. Kind of like cells in a spreadsheet.lulukom wrote: Fri Jun 04, 2021 2:18 pm I'm not familiar with Reaper, but my Digital Performer makes new takes and thereby allows you to store many variants of phrases directly on the track (in our case, on the phrase), and any of them can always be selected and compared with others .

In theory it should work in Ableton too, but in practice Ableton does not let you select a MIDI event bus, only a MIDI channel. It is great that Live 11 supports VST3, but please bug Ableton to properly support event channels.
The latest news from an hour ago is that the latest Studio One beta version supports 128 channels with MIDI CC, just like Cubase 11 Pro. PreSonus implemented legacy MIDI CC in VST3 very quickly, I am impressed! Well done, PreSonus!
Thanks,
Attila

I am in favor of taking the best jobs from everywhere! With Reaper, you can record multiple lanes on a track. You could then slice or cut those and choose a "take" based on that, creating a new phrase from the takes and lanes. Kind of like cells in a spreadsheet.

Continuation ..
But I miss a place where I could store takes phrases .. Permanent saving of phrases is not quick and not intuitive. Of course, the best is to take phrases right on the track with quick access, select and replace phrases .. It's creative!
