I have a question, can I do ringmod two oscs, or parts, and give each part/osc a different keyrange, so I could use two melody lanes for each?

You could by having the ringmod effect on a layer.
Oh but actually you can't because ringmod always ringmods the input with its own sine carrier. You cannot ringmod between two separate inputs in Falcon.

Not sure if this is linked to before, though I assume it has, but I just came across it and it definitiely deserves to be posted again: https://falcontinuum.com/ - a resource site for all things Falcon!

Falcon 2.1.5 has been released.
Here is the changelog (no official announcement yet to see if there are no regression because of the move to Juce handling of plugin format)
- Now uses JUCE handling of plugin format (AU, VST, AAX and standalone)
- Fix possible UI refresh issue on OSX
- Fix popup dialog scaling handling
- Add Reverse parameter in Sample oscillator
- Fix possible issue with touch automation
- Other minor fixes

So does this mean there’s some kind of JUCE container around Falcon code now or it has been rewritten in JUCE? Either way I’m hoping this makes MIDI output easier to code so we get that option at some point.

I'm only seeing 2.14 mentioned in UVI Portal

Plugin specific format code like VST, AU, AAX handling used to be our own code and now it uses the Juce wrapper which give us greater compatibility with DAW on the market.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Fri Jun 04, 2021 11:03 am So does this mean there’s some kind of JUCE container around Falcon code now or it has been rewritten in JUCE? Strange. I see 2.1.5 here.
Just in case, see if there is a Portal itself update first.

When it will make sense, yes.
Right now, I don't see which VST3 feature you will get that you can't have in VST2.

Thanks for the answer, Olivier,
My DAW is Cubase and when I use a vst3 version of a plugin, i have a minimum use of resource in respect when I use the vst2 version.

You are saying that the VST3 version eat less CPU than the VST2 ?newluc wrote: Fri Jun 04, 2021 12:12 pm Thanks for the answer, Olivier,

I don't see why it would be the case and especially in Falcon.
There are no overhead in VST2 so...
