Dave is working on the download manager issue right now.

Regarding the zoom speed, I have decided to add a global speed factor to the preferences. That way you don't need to hold down Shift for quick changes (but you still can if your setup supports it).

That's good to hear. I noticed that the others who've had the download manager issue are on Mac; I'm on Windows, and have the same issue. The synth itself is really good, though. One question: how do we load our own multisamples into S1 or S2? The manual doesn't say anything about that, at least as far as I could find.

F.'em accepts multisamples in EXS24 and SoundFont 2 format. The quickest way to load one is to drag&drop it onto the Sample section of one of the Sample operators. When you do that, the multisample is first copied into your "User Samples" directory on your hard disk and should afterwards be selected automatically for this operator.
You can locate and open the "User Samples" directory by clicking on the respective "Reveal" button in the sample browser. You can then create subdirectories in there and organize your samples neatly, if you like.

Until I saw your post, I didn't realize the sale was over already. I just noticed F'em had been released a few days ago. I'm patient, I can wait for the next sale

How long was the sale as I'm sure i downloaded F'em on release date only a day or so ago. Not even had time to deep dive and explore it fully yet. I agree with you and will wait for the next sale but shame as was tempted at the £107 price.

The question was about multisamples, when I remember correctly. F.'em certainly also supports WAV and AIFF. It can also use stereo samples (and multisamples) where you have to set Unison to 2 and Spread to maximum, so that one voice is panned hard to the left and the other to the right.

That being said , I hardly use the other layers
What a bout a cut down F-em version with just one layer ?
