I don't think the spaces thing matters - v4 beta doesn't have the spaces but still won't log in.
Typically when doing a database query leading and trailing spaces from usernames / emails and passwords are trimmed off anyway, so I wouldn't worry about that.

But the ui issue is the software unable to get the input cursor to line up visually with what you see and where you are typing, that can be many things but is the software itself, not an online connectivity issue.

But you know that currently most companies are using 3rd party services to authenticate, authorize and manage the session. So if service fails then you will not be able to login for instance or you will not sync your files.
No bitwig fault here in my opinion but the service provider which had downtime.

All of Bitwig staff is Berlin-based correct?

If so, we're not gonna get a response for another 6 hours at least, huh.

So much for me making that deadline with Sony in time.

So what's the service in this case? Fastly?

I had a similar problem for a long time when I first bought Bitwig studio. The license wasn't showing up in the list of registered hosts in your personal info on Bitwigs website, but it was showing up that I owned a copy. I had to enter the serial every time... In fact, it's still only showing up that my laptop is a 'registered host', so my bet is my desktop is phoning home to authorize... ugh. Bitwig need to get it together on this, their authorization system is obtuse and plagued with issues.

It’s 2:30am their time, but you never know when an employee will see the issue. I’ll be checking their Twitter for updates

AGREED : every GOOD service companies have a 99,9% downtime protection...

like webradios, Playstation etc...

it's first time i got an issue in Bitwig..

don't send 99999 tickets lol..............

we must wait they fix the issue !

it's night-time in Europa so it may takes up-to-12 Hrs, like when u have cable connexion issues,.....

let them work.

Post

talkin this, i hope it's not ransomware attack !

some air-company have this... but Bitwig is maybe a 8-10 Men team....

generally, cyber-criminals don't attack musicians, like in street...

just speaking.

_

like i see :

+ we can login on bitwig . com ! so their user database server / "US" R not attacked.

- only BWS 2/3/4 authorization server seems DOWN... affected.

,

there a bridge in Genoa that fallen... (...) .. talking that , they probably have a server Out...

they will repair.

Same log-in failure here, working on a project with a deadline, will lose tonight's work. Agreed with the immediately above though, with all of the support tickets sent in their inbox is flooded, this moves to the highest priority for the devs.

BWS saves a backup/restore version of your project u were on,

click RESTORE when NEXT opening Bitwig , OR YOU WILL LOOSE IT, ALSO DO FREQUENTS SAVES like every 5-10 minutes or manuqlly save em as Projet 1.1, Projet 1.2 mix 2,... & use a cloud hosting like pCloud the best, for never lost any 1 thing.

for 2) like we say, BITWIG DEVS DON'T HOST BITWIG.COM SERVERS IN THEIR BED ROOM......

like said, it's probably a DATAcenter that's got Down/offline...

in france , OVH.com the best european web hoster has a fire on their DATAcenter at Strasbourg few months ago...

watch Euronews & wait guyz !

Just guessing, unusual coincidence though. Several websites had problems today: stackoverflow, github, paypal, nytimes. Maybe bitwig is among them.
