EDIT: I am extending the survey until June 20th! So you still have time to answer and participate in the draw until the end of this week.

Hi everyone!

I’m doing a survey for my thesis on audio plug-in users, and I would highly appreciate the help and opinions of the community! By answering this survey, you are also helping to develop customer centricity in the audio plug-in industry.

Plugin company oeksound has provided me with a prize to draw among the participants of the survey, so you have a chance to win an awesome oeksound plugin as well! The winner of the draw can choose which oeksound plugin they want: soothe2 or spiff.

Answering the survey takes about 5 minutes. Each and every answer is valuable for the success of the survey. Please answer by June 20th, 2021.

You can access the survey here:
https://link.webropolsurveys.com/S/1B64E574946CE54F

The survey is anonymous. The results of this survey will be shared with oeksound. Filling your email address at the end of the survey is otherwise voluntary but needed to enter the draw. Email addresses of the respondents cannot be connected to the answers and will not be shared with other parties or used for any other purposes. Only the draw winner’s email address will be shared with oeksound to deliver the prize. The winner will be contacted by oeksound by the end of June.

The survey is also shared through other channels.

Thank you in advance!

This is a nicely designed survey. I think it should have included ipad/tablets and mobile OS-es since plugins have been available there for a long time now. :) Good luck with your thesis.

I got so far, then I had to stop. A mandatory question made no sense given my previous answer.
15. Where do you typically buy audio plug-ins? *
Directly from plug-in companies
From software retailers (e.g. Plugin Boutique, Plugin Alliance)
Second hand / used (e.g. social media marketplaces, forums)
I use stock and free plugins only

16. Which of the following purchase types do you prefer when buying audio plug-ins? Choose one or two options. *
Full purchase
Full purchase over multiple installments* (see definition below)
Rent-to-own** (see definition below)
Subscription
You can select from 1 up to 2 options
Selected options:0
You see, I had selected stock and free plugins only for question 15 and couldn't answer question 16.

Sorry I won't do your homework for you, but good luck.

How is answering a survey doing someone's homework? Students need data...

Done. Hope you get enough information to allow you to draw some meaningful conclusion. Please let us know what you come up with.

so I did the thing, spliffless

if I win, can I give to someone else?

I checked the “none of the above” as I think it should be labeled “other than the above”, as above was stuff checked as well…
