There are multisampled sounds with velocity and round robin (like taikos)
and single shots as well so it depends on the source.

Thanks for that Olivier.
One more question. I downloaded the manual but it's not clear: the sequencer can do different time signatures? Am I correct in thinking you can do e.g 15/8 by simply reducing the number of steps to 15 (or 30, 45 ) and putting in accents by increasing velocity on the desired steps?

AFAIK yes, just like you will put 12 steps in 1/16T to do 3/4.
In any case, you can just use your daw to trigger the track. The internal sequencer is not mandatory.

Unless I’m missing something obvious is there not a way in Falcon to use the Script Processor to filter notes in a layer on a basis like “lowest note only” and to effectively turn them into a mono source? Would like to create some multis that have layers like an octave bass arp based on lowest played note out of all notes held, but maybe I’m looking at the wrong thing?

Are you safe?

Yes you can.

https://github.com/lcouka/falcon-punch/ ... ractor.lua
And just put that kind of script only on the layer you want.

Lovely stuff. Thanks for that. :tu:

Edit: Got it working, but note for anyone else that falls into same trap I did initially - make sure it's the first script processor event or otherwise arps etc will fire before it.

An old dog I know, but it's a big one: midi learn in Falcon.

Thing is, if you buy any of their libraries the structure is always: presets as patches (separate instruments) so no global midi learn is possible.
Kontakt gets round this by using Snapshots within a single patch (instrument).
Take Asteroid for example: (and correct me if I'm wrong!) I want to assign the 7 volume faders to 7 physical faders on my midi controller. Open a patch, assign, all good. Then I load the next sound- all assignments lost. Because I'm actually loading another instrument instance.
So apart from overwriting every single patch in Asteroid, how do I achieve something so simple? It's a real workflow killer.
