Hello!

Looking for a vst filter plugin that doesn't exhibit frequency cramping with high frequency cutoffs with high resonance in order to emulate a 303 type filter?

The filter in Serum for example doesn't do this.

Is there any such thing?

Maybe check out ABL3 if you're looking for a 303 sound?

A high quality filter plugin I'd recommend is Kazrog Synth Warmer, tho it's a modelling of Moog Ladder so I don't know how useful it could be for you.

If you have Reaktor or the R player. Toy box has a free pack that has some great filters in block format. Their commercial packs add quite a bit and I believe even an actual 303 Emulation.
We jumped the fence because it was a fence not be cause the grass was greener.

Cytomic The Drop innit?

I don't think you will get the same definition level as with hardware. But one of the best is The Drop, try this one first

I don't have the drop but i heard great things about it.
I really like using FabFilter Volcano (I think it sounds great) and U-he Runciter.

Can you elaborate on that? I don't quite understand it.

you don't understand hf cramping, or the 2nd part about 303s (which i don't either). i never imagined typical 303 sound filtering is at the cramping range

I don't understand what "cramping" is supposed to mean in this context.

Means shape of the filter changes near nyquist

You seem to be very sure that you know exactly what the OP means.

I mean, that's what "cramping" at high frequencies is, if OP means something else they're not languaging right

I never heard the term "cramping" in this context, TBH.

I like the Gigaheartz simple filter but I don't know if it does exactly what you want. Its resonance sounds great tho.
