I wanna buy Trilian so hard but I have a MacBook Air 2017 "13 with 50 GB of free space. How much does the VST gonna grab from that space?

I can help you regarding running Trilian from an external drive. The answer is yes you can, just put the STEAM folder on the drive, open Trilian and in the pop up dialogue point the program to the STEAM folder.
I would recommend using an SSD drive on either a USB-C or USB 3 port.
