what do we buy?

Hi all
I have VSL Pro Complete package for EXS.I have decided to go for a GIGAStudio specific PC for my orchestral stuff.When I asked Vienna people how much would be the cost to get the Giga version,the reply was 2475 Euro! What I understood from sample licencing is we pay for the use of the sounds.Since I already have a licence to use the sounds what am I paying 2475euro for?Dont you think this pricing is absurd?All I should pay has to be the packaging etc stuff maybe a reasonable fee for a side grade.Somebody with more info on this please enlighten me.

he was told to keep his eyes open for a "side grade" offer..

Uh oh, need to switch from VSL Pro EXS24 to GS3! YIKES!
   



I bought the Pro Edition for EXS24 before Giga 3 was released. I knew it was coming, but any "realistic" release date at that time was unannounced and unprecditable.

We need to switch to Giga Studio 3. YIKES!!

I've tried the search engine here but nothing comes up.

Please don't tell me I have to hand crank @383,000 samples myself!!!!

Some sample houses give you all of the formats when you buy. You use what you need.

They have recently dropped the sidegrade for complete package to15%
At least better than the original 50%
