It appears Microsoft are relaxing the system requirements for Insider builds, allowing a wider range of systems to test Windows 11. I think they have been surprised at the backlash and are hoping they might be able to back-pedal a bit without too much effort. If they keep things as they are, they'll screw themselves over because 80% or more of users won't have a computer that qualifies. There is no way I would install it on either of my working machines and I doubt my Surface Pro 2 will qualify, even under relaxed requirements, so I can't see myself testing this at all.

I never seen crashing from GPU driver also, my partner is doing video professionally for 3 decades on both Windows and macOS and he never had that pleasure either, but it happens.

When doing 3D shaders for games or demonstrations for demoscene, the GPU driver can go haywire with all the shader coding back and forth trying them..

I'm not a bit surprised at all, they announced this TPM madness, and everyone paniced and bought up all the TPM modules, some companies charging 500% more than the original price just for this. I have a feeling it will be a real debating point.

I won't be upgrading, i'll wait for the new machine before I bother with W11.

i also remember when mac introduced themselves to third grade classes tho.... tbh. JHC i think word processing on a mac was 3 rd grade.

Same here. Next year, I'll buy a computer with Windows 11.

Hope I can upgrade my laptop though. ATM, I think the CPU is the issue. The laptop has TPM, but, the CPU is a 7th gen i5.

Windows 10 needs that since several versions. At least when you install it newly.

An account, just like on a Google phone, has many advantages though. I wouldn't want to be without sync anymore nowadays.

Incorrect, I installed 21H1 yesterday for a friend...
