I am talking about the new wavetable synth VITAL... the things that you can do with it are UNMATCHED! My new favorite synth! It is a serious threat to Serum. Best of all it is FREE!

I dont use any free stuff, so would struggle to find one I consider "best"

But very low cpu compared to Vital.

No, it isn't. The limited base version is free, the other versions are payware.

Really ? Well you asked what the best free synth was, and I answered, there are millions of preset packs about for Synth1, it has an amazing sound, and I prefer it to any of the others.

It's extremely popular and will always be so.

You are asking what is the most feature packed free synth, not what is the best. Best means many things.
