Okay, I used Rhino 2.01 in Sonar 4 (with the 4.01 patch). As someone mentioned in the "Silent in Sonar" thread in 2.01 I can not turn osc-filters etc off-on with the little green lights on the tabs (I believe in that thread, the person said that was resolved in Sonar 4, but not for me.) However, Rhino 2.01 always plays in Sonar 4 for me.
On hearing about 2.02, I downloaded it. I then unzipped the contents into my Rhino 2 folder. Whether I run it as a stand alone or within Sonar... I get nothing. It is the first half of the "library" page which shows up. (actually, when I try to run Rhino 2.02 in stand alone, I get an error message.) So, I uninstalled the 4 Rhino 2.01 components in the update and installed the new ones, then re-ran the VST adaptor using rescan existing plug ins. Same problem. Just the first half of the library page shows up.
Soooo, a couple of questions:
1) What am I doing wrong regarding installing 2.02?
2) Is there a fix for turning on/off the osc and filters in 2.01?
Thanks for the help.

What's the exact message displayed by the standalone version ?
Some people have reported problems when upgrading from 2.01 to 2.02. Uninstalling and re-installing from the full 2.02 package fixes it.

Okay, completely uninstalled 2.01 and then used the full 2.02 demo installer.... worked fine. That seems to have taken care of the problem.

I am unaware of any. I think that, in this case, it was switching between versions that caused the problems. Everything works fine now and I suspect it would in Sonar 3 as well.
