Hi all!

What's a good bass (the one with strings!) section library? May also be part of a bigger library.

Any suggestions?

Bass, like one you play with a bow or plucked? If we're talking orch, I'd highly recommend the Kirk Hunter one.

Only $30 for the double bass solo.

Actually I've got the complete Kirk Hunter Solo Strings library already :) The solo basses are indeed very nice, but I'm in need of a good bass section... An alternative is to design a section myself, but first I'm looking a little around. Don't know how the bass sections of GOS and GPO are...

Have you checked out Franz Pusch’s VRSound stuff? He’s got an Orchestra Bass section.

How does GPO compare with sample sets such as these?

Thanks for your replies. But still open for more suggestions! :)

Comparing a complete $250 library to dedicated libraries that overall are much larger? Not real fair, but hey. GOS does sound better than GPO for example, but I expect that, and I do have both libraries.
