Finally in production is this new take on the classic "Complex" oscillator for Eurorack.

While putting it through it's first few runs, I discovered it could kinda do 3 gtrs jamming.

This is just one instance (yeah.. no right click copy in HW.. ;) )
1 out from the PM buss and the carier's triangle into Fold6. 1 out to LPG and the other as is.

Anyway some thrashing gtrs on the eurorack.

Nice one... I just got it installed but haven't dived in yet, but I'm impressed. This is sounding fuzzy all on its own, which is exactly why I was looking at the complex oscillators and specifically Mindphaser (because this can make some nice noises).

I definitely need to find an optomix or LPG equivalent (but for now I can run through the 0-Coast as a dynamically triggered LPG)!

I have yet to see an optomix available at a vendor.

Anyway, it sounds good. Not sufficiently different than I am able to get with what I already have,
so I am unlikely to get one. Still congratz on the snazzy oscillator. Both of you :tu:

Yeah, nowhere to be found still. I can't even find it used.

I did hear from multiples sources (vendors and other users) that more of the Make Noise modules might be in stock in late July. Fingers crossed!

you can contact them directly as well, typically they only do pre-configs, but they might help you out. Tell them you havent seen one anywhere forever. They have them around for the shared systems. They are pretty reasonable ime. I've been thinking of it myself.

I just sent out an email. We'll see. They're definitely reasonable. Once I got my used 0-Coast, they were able to tell me how to clean it up. Not everyone treats their gear the same way so I was very appreciative of their support.

Cool, yeah report back. They can definitely take payments via paypal. The CFO has an account they use. I paid the $2400 that way for my Cartesian.

No luck on the Optomix. They said they're targeting Fall for restocks of vendors.

Apologies for forgetting about this thread.. it was late on a Friday night>> ;)

How are you getting on with the Mindphaser?

Looks like you've dived quiet deep and quickly into eurorack... :tu:
I've got a really nice system/band/instrument (my band in my mind..and I'm the obnoxious leader git) now. It's designed for improvisation with plenty of switches and other utilities I don't often see new users get... but from what I've read in the bought HW thread you seem to have a direction and put (wait.. putTING) together a neat system.

Yeah.. I think that's about the time I first saw it. Granular is not an area I've been much interested in.. until I saw this..
It looks like business... no fancy interface, just pure power and patchability (the seperate patch unit is sensible.. it will be interesting to see how long the interconnecting cables will be... I can see potential for putting that bit closer to a modulation cluster source .

If yours is a pre-order, I'm suprised I could find it in a UK retailer.. but they're a big retailer and had over 10 this morning... when I went to check again this arvo.. "low stock".. so they're flying out the door.

It was definitely a deep end of the pool dive, but it’s going nicely so far. I’m liking Mindphaser except for the knobs which feel flimsy. It’s not a big deal though, because they’re functional.

The system is in a good spot at the moment. I’m approaching it in stages and I haven’t hit the ceiling of my last yet, but seeing other people’s systems grow I’m sure it’s just a matter of time.

I made my first project tract with mostly just the make noise modules and i have been trying to mix it just to get an idea of what working with these devices can be like. It’s very different than working with soft synths. This should let me see what I’m missing but I’m still having fun (one man band too).
