Legato mode in f-em is really a pita , setting the layer mode to mono legato is just not enough
It keeps retriggering the envelopes when playing , in order to get true legato ( meaning not retriggering the envelopes when notes overlap ) we have to set each indiviual operator envelope to firstinstead of poly .
So suggestion , setting layer mode to legato automatically switches all operator envelopes to NOT retrigger with overlapping notes

I asked about this elsewhere but not sure where bugs are being read about: when entering a value directly into operator phase via left click, any attempt to enter "0.0" (the only way to get phase reset at the start of the waveform, necessary to avoid clicking once polyphony builds up) results in it being reset back to "Free". Since it is really difficult to get it to 0.0 by just dragging the control, and this has to be done on every operator, it's a significant issue for those of us doing our own programs.
Side note: a way to globally set 0.0 as the default instead of "free" would save a HUGE amount of work.

Phase reset is achieved by setting phase to 360 degrees. It's in the manual.

Thank you. I did read that section and my brain just stored 0 degrees instead. 360 indeed does not revert to free, so all is well.
A global button / action / something to choose 360 as default would still be great since the default is "free" - would just save a ton of editing.

Yes I have m and it's appening in all my hosts :renoise , reaper and loomer architect , it could of course be my+10 years old graphics card ( which I don't plan to upgrade
Wouldn't it bemuch easier if you could just add the option to turn it off ?

Ah, so it's developed by you, Mr. Franke? You are a bit of a legend in my book. A shame that you now team up a with company that imo creates some of the worst GUIs on the market.

I know it's a matter of opinion and quite a negative remark but then again it's honest feedback too.

(They also completely f**ked up Tracktion (even its name) beyond recognition, which once (before they took over) was my most favourite DAW to both look at and work with)

I had posted this in the actual Tracktion F'em developer thread too, but just in case others were in the same boat as me: I missed the early sale on it that went by pretty quickly, but I was glad yesterday to find this on sale at JRR Shop. It is 107.40 there, but came to 91.29 in my actual cart, so almost 50% off. Glad to get this one, looks to be a good piece of gear.

It would be nice if you could quickly switch between various FM Matrix configurations/algorithms you've saved, I mean, if there was a way to save them. I don't think there is a way to do that (?) but I know FM8 has a menu where you select from various algorithms. I know you can copy/paste between layers to get the matrix setup the same way on another layer, so maybe there could be a save button right next to those buttons?

I would also like to see improvement to the info bubble in the envelope sections. It's infuriating how the bubble for the node (the box) so often sits over the top of and hides the adjacent curve adjustment control (the circle). Maybe the numbers from the bubble could just be displayed at the top-right corner of the envelope panel instead of in a bubble?
