It's just a login to the community site, which is currently very quiet, and there's currently a demo mix video/course to watch - so you're not missing out on much.

I think they paused new user signups to the community area to fix some issues with the community forum software, and I get the feeling that they are pretty busy with the upcoming TC6000 release.

But I wouldn't worry about it too much, you're really not mixxing out on anything much at this time and I'm sure you'll be able to sign up in due course, when hopefully they being to add some more content and it gets a bit livelier... it's very new, and I expect they plan to build on it as time goes on.

Hey beely,thanks for taking the time to explain that. At least now I know. I did end up joining the "community" just in my search for whatever I was supposed to find but it's all good.

Ah great - no problem. Yes, I think they plan to add more content that's exclusive to Relab owners over time, but it's been confirmed that access to the user area is the additional bonus extras mentioned in the blurb...

Relab is way better than NI RC 48 imo

Ah didn’t know RC48 was an emulation of LX480L though I had a feeling it was.

I’ve got too many reverbs..

The whole CSR series used to be my go to.

Yes. It sounds great with shorter reverbs and has a cool digital vibe that would work well in a wide bandwidth/dynamic range electronic dance context. IMHO. YMMV.

I've got the full LX480 and ended up using Essentials on a bus yesterday just because it was quicker (better browser). Hit next a few times until I found the right ambience sound for that track, and moved on. Really is wonderful. In that instance, the current lack of a Mix Lock was obviously not an issue.
