iLok Manager recognize my current PC as a new machine, i can't deactivated my license because i have to login and deactivate using my old PC.
Anyone can help?
I hope iLok customer service can deactivate manually from their end.starflakeprj wrote: Sun Jul 04, 2021 2:46 pm iLok (if you don't have an iLok key, or the plugin don't support iLok Cloud) uses the hardware in a computer to calculate an hardware ID. If you choose to replace hardware (especially the motherboard I assume), this hardware ID will be re-calculated.
Luckily for you, you have only one license that is affected. What you need to do is email the developer and explain what happened, and ask them to reset the activation on the old hardware.
For the next time, remember to de-activate the license before any hardware upgrade![]()
Just for clarification, it's not the iLok customer service you need to contact. It's the developer of the plugin.tomzerry wrote: Sun Jul 04, 2021 3:15 pmI hope iLok customer service can deactivate manually from their end.starflakeprj wrote: Sun Jul 04, 2021 2:46 pm iLok (if you don't have an iLok key, or the plugin don't support iLok Cloud) uses the hardware in a computer to calculate an hardware ID.
