I just logged on to my laptop and iLok let me know that I have 0 activations on that computer, but in reality I had over 20. It had created a new location id and all the licenses were on another instance. The fix for this was a system recovery. After this nightmare I also activated the recovery option on my main computer.
And of course you can ask a license reset from the developers, but recovery was much faster.
Thanks for the user v1o for mentioning this on older topic.
A tip for the iLok users (if iLok creates another instance without asking and locks your licenses)
