Watch Paul Third's new video

It is about new Blackbird plugin by Kitplugins, who is Kitplugin???
He proves it is crap.
I ve immediately unsubscribed Warren Huart's channel, he was the one who started hyping this plugin. I won't believe him a word any more, he is a paid hyper!

Him, and Dave Pensado, and Michael Brauer, and Michael White, and Reid Stefan, and Pete Thorn, and Venus Theory, and the MixBusTV guy, and the HomeRecordingMadeEasy guy, and the SpectreSoundStudios screaming guy, and the mixorcists guys... and so many other... they want to make some money, who doesnt.

You can still learn something here and there from them, but you need to keep in mind: they're there to sell you X product. If I was spending hours making videos I would like to make some money out of them as well. Paul Third is, for the moment, unbiased, just because he hasn't been "touched" by the big developers yet. It's a matter of time though, I'm sure.

You're saying Michael White is a shill? Have never heard him say anything about a video being sponsored by anyone nor does he seem to be trying to sell something from any of these vendors.

Based on DWs video I wouldn't go near this plugin and would get some FF plugs instead. They must be thinking all pub is good pub.

He shits all over it. I don't see how anyone could put a positive spin on what he says. Just because he says at the end he may end up buying it when it goes on sale? That's not saying it's a good product, that's just trying to find something nice to say about something that makes it hard to find something nice to say about it. It's like a certificate 'for participation' at a sports event. The plugin is a mediocre product by a company that knows very well how to do better.
FWIW, they advertise it using a specific brand name and a model name, yet on the inside there's little to be found that's actually reminiscent of the original product. Did Dirk or brainworx have anything to do with the original company AMEK Systems? I honestly don't know, but I don't think so. Harman held the AMEK trademark until early 2019, and a few months after giving it up, it's now registered to brainworx. They bought the trademark so they can slap it on second-class products and cash in on the 'vintage lore' that comes with the name, just like what Behringer is doing.

That's what I took from it as well - it's also not like he says the aliasing doesn't matter.

What he basically says is that he can't trust the plugin to be able to be put on all tracks/channels without potentially running into issues due to the aliasing.

Two things:
1. Where did you read the word "shill"? It seems like lately you're putting words in everyone else's mouths. Not once I used "shill" and not once I criticized that those guys are being sponsored. I'm only saying they are selling you a product. Just like Dcrown mentioned: they are influencers, they're there to influence. You can get great info about cars from your Honda dealer... and yet that info will be biased because they're your Honda dealer and they want to sell you a Honda. I neither stated this is positive or negative. I only said to keep an eye on the bias.
2. You're right that no where is stated that his videos are sponsored. This is just my personal take gathered from watching them and seeing as though his conclusion is always exactly the same. Do this experiment: pick 10 plugin of the week reviews and play only the last 10 seconds and tell me what you hear.
