That, and about a half dozen of NI's fx are vst3 in a new update.

Scanned quickly but didn't see a thread about it.

Well I , for one, am pleased. VST3 runs better for me. Faster loading times is very welcome.

Finally. Now we just need the GUI to be resizable.

Seems like they are only interested in supporting their own vst3 plugins in Maschine and not third party vst :(

That would be awesome, but NI has many plugins in need of the same treatment.

Does Kontakt VST3 support the much anticipated new features of VST3 standard:
- 4 MIDI ports in plugin -> 64 parts
- per-note CC
- sample-accurate automation
?
I hope so...

Sure, but Kontakt is one of the flagship products (I'm not bothered if their reverb unit has a resizable GUI tbh) and has been asked for for a long long time, way before 4K monitors.

Which ones? Care to provide a link for info about this? I see nothing on NI website.

If you own any NI plugins, just check the Native Access for the update. I took a screenshot of the ones that have already been updated.

Thanks, nothing for me then as I uninstalled both Kontakt and Supercharger two days ago, because I never used any of them :D

Hopefully they'll port the synths eventually...

Indeed. Exactly which VST3 features are implemented in the various plug-ins. And, which of those does your DAW support?

No, it's a straight port from VST2 to VST3, no VST3 specific features being added. The emphasis was to make sure they behave exactly the same, then down the road individual VST3 features can be evaluated and implemented separately.

I bet sample acccurate automation won't happen. There's very few VST3 plugins that actually use it, it's also more CPU intensive.

Yeah everything will have a VST3 eventually.

Good Luck waiting for this to happen.

I doubt it will ever happen.
