It makes sense, you need the profile for the room emulation to sound authentic, so it wouldn't be very good advertising of their system if it only had the emulation but no profile to make it sound correct

It makes sense, it would be like mixing a trial & full version together. One would expect problems.

It has all the profiles, but you cannot use it as just a headphones correction plugin alone.

Sort of. The plugin has compensation curves for (almost literally) hundreds of different headphone models included + 'impulse responses' for various monitoring environments. Standard impulse responses are not that big, since they are usually very short audio files. But Acustica uses a more sophisticated approach to sampling analog behaviour, so I guess this explains the size of their plugins.

Yeah 2.5 gb, for only one room emulation. And it uses quite a lot of cpu.

You can throw away the samplerates you don't use afterwards, unfortunately AA still didn't implement the option to not install samplerate packages that you don't need.

This is really cool, although unfortunately I don't think I can make use of it considering the fact that I have some obscure models of headphones, and they don't have profiles for them.
