hey guys - just ignore XG2 - he's been trolling for years - used to plague the CM forums...god, must be about 3 or 4 years ago now.
He gets a bee in his bonnet about something and then goes about flaming everyone for it...
for example, his continued flames towards CM for not featuring free trackers or Buzz every month (even though CM has done an issue where the main focus was the tracker scene and it used to have Buzz on the cover CD every month - but he wouldn't ever level the same criticism at SOS

Please just ignore him guys - it's for the best as he can get very personal with his abuse (as Ronan and Kev Redding from CM have both suffered).

sorry - back to the thread :D

You talking about the editor - ronan mcdonald isn't it?

He always seemd to be a great bloke in the mag, i always liked his opening editorials and other stuff.

I really don't understand why other people using Reason is such an issue for XG2, he seems to be banging out some kind of hip-hop with his boys and Buzz, i'd be happy with that so if he's got issues then they're his his problem not ours.

You don't here me going "everyone must use Live cos its amazing and all else is crap" do you?

I love Live, and Renoise, but thsts my choice. Its got nothing to do with anyone else, and nor has their software of choice got anything to do with me!

Why does he even care? Boredom? Youthful anger at the those who are big and sucessful (we'va all been there) or what? I don't get it.

Thanks for the reasurrances and info about XG2 :)

Yes, I love Live 4 and Reason rewired together - a good combination, and it works well for me. Can't wait to see what Reason 3 will bring to the partnership!

Adobe Audition is another great ReWire partner for Reason as well - give it a try if you haven't already, especially those who said earlier that they want better EQ and compression for their Reason tracks. Audition brings that in spades!

Click one of the screws that holds a Subtractor in the rack and hold the mouse button down while dragging upward. :-)

I found it by mistake and clumsiness. I was trying to drag a module and clicked the screw instead.

There were other easter eggs in previous versions of Reason, but that's the only one I know of that's still in there. Y'don't suppose there might be more to come...? =^_^=

 OoooO

I see what you mean!

Nobody can accuse the Props of lacking humour now, can they?!

I tried it, and now I've lost my screws! I should have known that my screws were loose!

=^_^=

Be sure to epoxy your Sub back into the rack!

Meffy

P.S.: If you drag slowly and watch carefully you'll see the screw drop out as you loosen it the last bit. You can reverse the process -- the screw will fly back up in backward motion.

Wish my talent at using virtual bolts translated into musical skill, but I guess that's the luck of the draw.

All of this is why my cat (virtual, I haven't really got one) doesn't come into my music studio anymore ;-)

I can make music with this thing? Oh, righty! Heh... too much fun playing with the screws. Well, just give me a beer and call me Homer Simpson.

Guilty of the same. Ah well. :-) It's a good place to learn all kinds of things, including stuff I hadn't expected to learn.
