This is what's leaning me more towards a rack EQ and live effects equipment.
To route the output to the EQ then to the phones or monitors and the live effects equip as inserts. So easy to do in FL!

I think that that might be the answer to my question here as I have not gotten anything less than 10% CPU usage running Voicemeeter or something simple like VST Host, even, a while ago, alongside (after) FL or any DAW, really.

Windows (my OS of choice) has this "Audio Graph Isolation" tool (found in the Task Manager while running any type of effects processing, system-wide) which is the main audio routing service of Windows itself. It actually runs equal CPU processing alongside ANY virtual audio effects system-wide processing.
As far as I know .. It may even run alongside DAWs ..
I'm not 100% positive on that though (about DAWs and the tool). In fact, now that I think about it, if it runs twice like that and Microsoft can FIX that .. they might actually have something there. They might even be able to enable some type of "mode" where "If you enable this, you void your warranty" but it lets the processes take over fully. They might not want to do that though since it'd open up the system fully to hackers and all that and Linux vs. Mac vs. Windows and all that blah blah, too much too soon for society ..
Not sure though if it's just displaying ALL the effects CPU redundantly? or if it's doing it's own thing, separately, and adding to the bogging-down. All in all it may just be Window's way of keeping things stable and not having processes fully take over since "made for it" coding is seemingly the best thing, people have been finding. But then again if it was opened, it would ALLOW developers to make that "made for it" programs, softwares, apps, etc. Who knows lol .. I'm just guessing .. ..

ANYWAYS ..
I think that that's what I'm going to do is get an external EQ unit ("live" not USB) so that the processing doesn't take away from the CPU, would probably be the most wise choice. And maybe not do the laptop thing after all. I'm more of the natural type so when I'm out and about I don't want to be sitting there on a computer composing. If any ideas pop into my head I could just get a memo recorder and whatnot. Same thing as all these smartphone cameras at these concerts and people don't just enjoy the music instead. :D

Thank you, Tj Shredder. Kowabunga, dude #namaste
