Hi. I have cubase 10.5 installed and activated. I bought the Cubase 11 update but not activated it yet. How does cubase licensing work when using a new pc?

'new pc' doesn't enter into it, you activate it on yer dongle and that's that.
unless it's some version using the soft-licenser which I haven't done

I’ve moved Cubase between 2 computers: a Mac and a PC, and yes- you need a dongle. I don’t think there’s actually any limit to the amount of different computers you can authorize for Cubase, because you can only run one at a time on that dongle

Hey,
As others have said, it's done on the elicenser dongle. There is no limit to how many computers you can use it on. Simply plug in the dongle on any computer, install the elicenser software and Cubase will run.
