Well, you need to install Tracktion first, then copy the machine id from the about box and paste it into the first field on the registration form on the website and then hit create licence (or similar, I already did it). Then they'll send you a keyfile that'll unlock your version.

It states a NFR version, as opposed to d/l'ing a generic version then enabling it in an alternative way.

I've got SX2 as well, and am curious too. It's been a year since I tried Tracktion, but the noise was too much to handle the demo. After a year of thinking of this sequencer, I may be able to comprehend the paradigm this time.

The good alternative is the New Version of FL Studio Producer Version 5 due out next week.

There are some very special updates and additions to FL that will make your eyes water with enjoyment, particularly with stability, and automaton n audio – plus looping on record etc – by the looks of the documentation

Its not got unruly unlock systems either btw
