marvel - brooklyn bridge, iron man vs detroit steel, black panther (from civil war)
batman - scarecrow and killer croc
all still to be built!!

Definitely worthwhile. Most of my work now involves using video editors heavily, and whilst I'm not a colour grading power user, there's also a lot of crossover with people who make music and are now more or less obliged to use Youtube as a promotional platform.

Quoting to not let you get buried in the off-topic lego talk!

In addition to the interests, scenarios, and use cases in posts by whyterabbyt and codec_spurt (among others), and everything else on topic... these pretty much sum it up. I would like to see it happen.

One frequent topic that comes up are DAWs that handle video and I'm sure those of that have worked with this know this can mean different things. I think this topic alone would be helpful to keep in a dedicated forum.
There's some other stuff with modular/performance/DIY stuff that has come up that I think would also benefit just from not being buried among the other topics. Even if they don't gain as much attention it could be nice.
I look at it like the Guitars sub-topic. It's not the most popular one here, but it's nice to have a dedicated subtopic for it.

I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

For video editors, possibly DaVinci Resolve, because there's a free version. Not seen quite the same kind of fanboyism though.AnX wrote: Tue Jul 13, 2021 5:11 am what's the reaper equivalent in video land?
(for those who need a standardised "have you tried...." answer)
On the 3D side, definitely Blender.
An idiot on Set Theory:

I have literally written "Have you tried Divinci Resolve?", lol! So yeah, feels like a good fit.
