Hi - hope everyone is well. I just joined KVR after purchasing and installing the Antelope Audio Orion Synergy Core and am hoping the collective minds here might be able to provide some answers or advice on the following questions:
1 - When using the Orion SC in Logic Pro X, the volume, as compared to my former Apogee Element 24, is quite low at the same settings. Is this "normal"? Does the Orion simply output at a lower volume? I have the Monitor Trim set to 20dB (anything less than this and the volume is even lower)
2 - The headphone volume is also quite low. Is this "normal"? I have to crank up the headphone volume to the max in order to hear through them
Thank you for any assistance you might provide.

Hello!
I am experiencing this problem. I was wondering if you were able to figure it out and hopefully correct it? I would hate to give up on this unit but I have been unable to fix it after a couple of days of research and troubleshooting. Any information is very much appreciated.

I have ZenTour SC and while the headphone output is a little "weak " to drive planar magnetic headphones I don't really have prob with vol overall.
Oh wait, that's maybe because I'm also using an external mixer before the main monitor. Nvm.
I would contact the tech support and they have been pretty helpful to me.

I would expect to get answers to a 3000 € brick from support faster than from a place like KVR where the majority of lurkers won‘t be able to afford such toys…
Even your dealer should be able to help with this…
But as we have three posts from members with a single post on KVR in this thread this might well be a common problem with these boxes and should be fixed within warranty anyway. Or just return it if you don‘t get an answer within 2 working days… The laws in Europe are on your side…
Any professional grade equipment should output +4 dBm btw. There should be no difference between brands…

After working with it for a while, I ended up realizing I was not going to "get along" with the AA unit and its accompanying softwareTj Shredder wrote: Sat Sep 11, 2021 1:15 pm I would expect to get answers to a 3000 € brick from support faster than from a place like KVR where the majority of lurkers won‘t be able to afford such toys…

I ended up selling it and moving back to Apogee (Symphony Desktop) and I am loving it
