You still haven't worked out after 28,000+ posts that what you say and infer about other people in insulting ways is actually reflected back on yourself when people read it. I pity you for not working this out after all these years and thousands of hours on here.

Not holding my breath though given the horrible GUI the more recent Blade 2 has.
working with Blade 2, for me, personally, subjective, is great fun...
i can get why it doesn't work for everyone...

There's a difference between posting and posting, you know? If you ever see me create posts about my great GUI inventions, or ideas I had in 1999 which the industry adopted deacades after that, or threads with one-liners about how yawnable music software is, let me know.THE INTRANCER wrote: Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:50 pmYou still haven't worked out after 28,000+ posts that what you say and infer about other people in insulting ways is actually reflected back on yourself when people read it. If reactions on your posts are insulting for you, then internet forums are not the place for you, I'm afraid.

On the subject of Predator 3: I'm curious what will be added and changed. Rob Papen is a terrific, underrated plugin creator with very innovative designs.

If you carry on insulting people on this forum with vile language like that, which is completely unprovoked, you'll be heading out the same door that gentleclockdiver has been recently, with possibly more than just a suspension.
These are not my rules, these are the forums rules.
They are there for a reason.

Good that you realize that, because, threats won't get you anywhere either.

I have to admit, the idea of a Predator 3 doesn't really excite me all that much.
I hope I'm surprised, though!. The problem with Predator 2 was that it took an already flexible synth and tried to make it MORE flexible, and, IMO, it went overboard. It's ... just too busy. There were a *glimmer* of elegance about Predator that was kind of lost in version 2.
And, no, the "EZ" page didn't fix it for me. Neither did Go2, for the record: I _wanted_ to like it, but it didn't click. It pulled out the wrong parts for me.
If somehow Mr. Papen manages to re-think Predator in version 3 so that it's focused on what really makes it a good synth: those clever oscillators! I love the way they skirt the edge of wavetable, and how you can massage the waves between two different types. It yields interesting results. The rest of the synth merely needs to be _competent_, and not bloated. Just let the oscillators stand out!
To me, Predator was the "spiritual successor" to Albino. I'd love to see it head back in that direction enough to make me nostalgic, but with modern sound improvements!
