Can't Use Fruity Peak Controller Inside Patcher?

Using Fruity Peak Controller inside FL's Patcher makes it undetectable from outside that particular Patcher instance... Anyone know why this is the case?
Context: I have a drum clip playing through mixer Insert A. I also have 808's playing through mixer Insert B. The kick from the drum sample and the 808 track are interfering with each other. To solve this problem, I put a Patcher instance on Insert A, containing an instance of Maximus routed to an instance of Fruity Peak Controller. The Peak Controller is not routed to anything else. In Maximus, I soloed the bass channel and tweaked it to get only the kick as an output, which is routed to the Peak Controller. My intention is to link a compressor's gain control in Insert B (the 808 channel) in order to sidechain it to the kick. In my Patcher I've also linked the FL Studio main audio input to the FL Studio main audio output, in order to hear the whole drum output, which is why the Peak Controller's audio output is not routed to anything.

For a moment I though that maybe I should activate some sort of control input from the "To FL Studio" icon. Unfortunately, there are only MIDI and audio options, not controls.
As you can see in the previous screenshot, I've activated the "Peak" control output on the Peak Controller, but I can't plug it to the FL Out, for the reason I've just mentioned.

Thanks in advance for any help.

JUST FOUND A SOLUTION! WILL EXPLAIN LATER (when I get the time)...

I found the solution!
Okay, so we said the drum clip is on Insert A and the 808 channel is on Insert B.
Now forget about the Patcher on Insert A. In fact, the Patcher should be on Insert B! For the drums to affect Insert B, just route Insert A to Insert B with 0dB gain (very important)—this can be done by selecting (highlighting) Insert A and shift-clicking on the routing arrow of Insert B... You can then see that the routing gain dial is down to zero percent.

Okay, now we need to access this routed signal inside our Patcher instance on Insert B. In order to do this, we need to open Patcher and right-click on the "From FL Studio" icon. From there we can activate the audio output for Insert A, which is our drums.
Now... The drum signal from the "From FL Studio" module is what should be routed to Maximus, in order to isolate the kick. This isolated kick should now be sent to Fruity Peak Controller. Then, right-click on the Peak Controller and activate the "Peak" control output.
Next step: Get your compressor (or whatever you're using to sidechain) into Patcher and route the "From FL Studio" main audio output to that compressor. Then route the compressor output to the "To FL Studio" module.
Almost done... Right-click on your compressor and activate the gain control input (it should appear as a red dot to the left of the module). Then connect the "Peak" control output to the compressor gain control input... And you're done!
Here's an image of what I have as a Patcher setup for Insert B (808's):

There you go!

P.S. As you can see in the Patcher image, I'm not actually using a compressor. 😇 I used a compressor in my description to simplify things, but what I'm actually using it an instance of Parametric EQ. The EQ control being modulated by the Peak Controller is the high-pass cutoff frequency for Band 1. This results in the lowpass closing up and letting only higher-pitch signals out when the kick comes in. Another techinque I've seen people use is modulating the band gain... Here Band 1 would probably be a shelf rather than a high-pass.

P.S.S. In order to quickly transfer my presets from one mixer insert to the other, I just clicked on the down-arrow on the Patcher slot and then dragged the "Save preset as..." option to Insert B (808's). It's easier that way (yes, it will fill up your Windows Recycle Bin with temporary mixer slot presets, LOL). 😜

Have a nice one all.
