Help with Waveform [SOLVED]

I am new to Waveform 11 and I am really enjoying it. I like the drag and drop modularity of it in particular. The problem is, I cannot get the mixer's volume controls to make any difference to the volume. I am using the 64 bit version on Win7. (No comments about upgrading - it would require a new computer and I can't afford it)

Any chance of a screen capture to show what's going on? The only thing I can think of is the volume/pan plugin is deactivated. In that case you can still raise and lower the volume in the Mixer but it wouldn't change the volume.
Does the pan work?

Does the pan work?
Surely there must be consensus by now...

I searched for Waveform and didn't think to search for Tracktion otherwise I would have asked there. I can't tell whether the pan works or not because I have no monitors at the moment, only my laptop speaker. The sliders in the mixer move but don't change the volume coming out of the speaker.pough wrote: Thu Jul 15, 2021 8:40 pm Dedicated forum: viewforum.php?f=22

The level meter plugins don't show anything either.
The master volume works perfectly.

Be sure to insert prior to the mixer control, not after. I mention this as a sanity check because I have made this mistake.

My synth plugins were placed after the volume control. What an idiot I have been!!!

As the situation is solved, OT is fine by me. I haven't tried audio recording/editing with it so I am not sure myself.Danilo Villanova wrote: Tue Jul 20, 2021 11:45 pm sorry for OT but is W11 good for audio recording/editing tasks? Comping?

I did yesterday and it works great. Comping and punch in recording work as they should and when punch in recording Waveform will begin recording a beat before the punch in point so you can slip edit the clip to adjust the start time in case you start playing a bit early. Studio One and Cakewalk failed me on that point.Erisian wrote: Wed Jul 21, 2021 3:14 pmAs the situation is solved, OT is fine by me.
