Thanks,

No, please DO NOT remove the arp. Keep it!

Post

Nothing is forcing anyone to use the arp so keep it.

Post

Came to amend what I said. I maintain that a missing feature is better than a broken one. But since people seem to like and use the arp, actually you'd be better leaving it. For people like me, it doesn't change anything (as Saffran said, I just don't use it) but people who use it would lose something, which is not right.

Just keep it (and truth is there must be a fix that exists somewhere :) )

Hi All,

Thank you guys for your response. I was more with EdSfer's original opinion. Was going to suspend the arp until I fix it. Since the majority of you still want it as it is, I'll leave it. I currently don't see a solution for the arp re-triggering but will continue the search. Hopefully, I'll fix it. The ones who use it in its current state should know the arp's behavior will change, for the better, but still change.

Thanks,
Sasha

Thanks, it's working like a charm now :tu:

Noticed something, that happened also in the previous versions. Sometimes, when GR8 is not playing (even with all FX turned off, in an init state), there's still some amplitude level detected by Ableton's track meter. Something between -36 and -20db. Youlean Loudness Meter detects it also, at the same level. It's inaudible, and using ableton's EQ8 to hipass the track at 10hz fixes it, and sets it back to -inf. I'm not sure how to reproduce it, it happens randomly when switching through presets, and disappears the same way (it doesn't necessarily disappear right after I switch to another preset, it may need several ones).

I don't know if it's something to worry about, but I prefer to let you know. While inaudible, it does trigger eg compressors when pushed hard.

Below is how it is displayed while the track is not playing anything. Note that displayed meter stays perfectly static and doesn't move at all.

Fixed DC offset caused by the phaser module.

EdSfer, thank you very much for reporting the bug.

Cheers!

Hi and many thanks for all this work!
If not too much of a trouble, would it be possible to ad the version # (still shows 1.0.0) so it would be easier to follow-up development?

Post

This is a wonderful synth! I'm getting great, rich sounds from it in Logic. Good job!

Thanks, Nordikvr, not trouble at all, just I don't understand where does it show 1.0.0? Can you please clarify? Thanks.

That's something I've noticed, as well. It doesn't bother me but it seems very strange.

Thank you! Think I found where I can edit the version number. I will start using the correct numbers from now on. Cheers!
