Even less dead with today's update.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

Well, its good to see it being worked on but they have just added an existing NI fx (supercharger) and some presets. What about the new circuit modelled amps? That what I really want to hear...
Native’s newly developed circuit modeling process uses cutting-edge machine learning technology to reproduce the behavior of hardware devices from the ground up, giving a whole new level of depth and realism to our amp emulations. Even better, it means we’ll be working with the community to discover new hardware and bring it to GUITAR RIG 6 PRO with regular updates.

There's a new dual filter in there as well.

It does seem like they are trying harder to compete with Mixbox than with Amplitube sometimes.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

Yes, I like GR6 - I like the GUI and the way it works with LFO's etc you can really be creative...I am just really interested to see how good this 'new circuit modelling' is but the don't seem to be using it yet (and its 7 months since it dropped). The 2 new amps were OK but a bit 'vanilla', I would expect something more interesting next...

Doppel Filter is awesome! Very, very nice sounding filter, mega self-oscillation with FM and Drive are yummy.
The first (quick) impression is that it may become my new fav filter effect.
With Modifiers, it's instant fun. I feel like I'm playing with modular. Several minutes tweaking self-oscillation only
SuperChargerGT is also very good. I'm glad that I was greedy and I didn't buy it earlier even that I knew that I like it.
It was worth waiting even if updates are not coming very often.
I hope that they will bring more effects like Doppel Filter and fewer amp emulations/guitar stuff.

MixBox can't do even a tiny piece of what GR6 can do thanks to modulators. MixBox is ok for mixing purposes but GR6 can do that + full palette of sound design capabilities.

Has anyone noticed a 16- to 32-sample delay (and corresponding phase shift) in GuitarRig 6 that isn't being reported to the DAW? I just saw this on Gearspace and haven't had a chance to check it myself. But if it's true and if it's still not fixed in the latest version of GR6 (6.2.0 as of this post), I'd like to know before I jump into it.

I think the 2 new amps are pretty good for what they do. I just don't need a 50s era amp like Chicago. I like the Fire Breather and use it a fair amount. But I am disappointed that we haven't seen any new amps since, especially when they claim the new technology speeds up the process.SLiC wrote: Thu Apr 22, 2021 7:33 pm Yes, I like GR6 - I like the GUI and the way it works with LFO's etc you can really be creative...I am just really interested to see how good this 'new circuit modelling' is but the don't seem to be using it yet (and its 7 months since it dropped). Man, there are just way too many relevant threads here (pretty bored with GS)
Anyways, I still have the demo but unless it goes on sale half off I'm not going to buy it. It's real nice, but I already have amp room (the new version, not that old thing) and amplitube 5. Pretty happy
