What are the requirements for the different memberships? I can't find any specific info on the site.

Every esoundz member gets certain benefits such as access to the freesoundz, 10% discount on non-sale items and other stuff. Membership is free for anyone to join. All you need is a valid email address.
Then there is silver, gold and platinum. Each one qualifies you for more discounts on certain items as well as other benefits. The levels kick in after a certain amount of purchases. The more you buy the higher the level and the better the deals. The actual cutoff isn't revealed but when you buy something you may notice your membership level change after a while. Silver is not hard to get to. Gold and Platinum depend on your order frequency and quantity. If, like some people, you order quite a lot then it can be very advantageous to be at the gold and platinum levels.

Actually, I think there is more to it but more along the lines of having a history of spending over $200, 500 or 1,000. But, other factors may be looked at such as frequency of purchases or quantity per order. There's a formula there and it is so non-public that even I don't know exactly what it is. But, it is designed to reward esoundz customers the more they purchase... which makes sense, right?Arglebargle wrote:See, this is what I want you to reveal, though.Squids wrote:The actual cutoff isn't revealed

Just gone Platinum...
Oh god I really should keep away from the Esoundz site. Damn Squids and his Group buys.
New Years resolution. Stop buying stuff (and surfing the net) and write some music....

Really? You went platinum? That's awesome. That really says something.
I think we're going to do a drawing for some free stuff for all gold and platinum members. Platinum is definitely something to reward. It's not easy to get there unless you've picked up quite a few products from esoundz. Thanks rollasoc!

I'm only Silver at the moment.
I wonder what happens after I get the ST XL engine and the SS2 upgrade.
